The Beverly Hills/Hollywood branch of the NAACP held its 18th Annual Theatre Awards on Monday night, with honorees including Vivica A. Fox and "American Idol."

Anthony Anderson ("Law & Order") and Kimberly Elise ('The Great Debaters') hosted the festivities at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. Vivica was awarded the Spirit Award, while "Idol" was recognized with the Community Service Award for its "Idol Gives Back" fundraising telecast. The night also included a musical performance by R&B singer Mario ("Dancing with the Stars").

VIVICA A. FOX is on the hunt for the next great Hollywood stylist and she's using her new show "Glam God With Vivica A. Fox" to find the one! According to The Hollywood Reporter, the VH1 reality series, set to debut this summer, is an eight-episode competition where contestants battle each other out in challenges that test their knowledge of fashion as well as hair and makeup trends.

JESSICA SIMPSON has revealed plans to travel to Kuwait, where she'll entertain the troops. In the latest entry of her blog she writes:

"Hey ya'll. I just wanted to say hi, and let you know that I am hard at work on my country record, and I can't wait to share it [with] all of you. I am heading to Kuwait to do a show for the troops, then back in the studio. I love you all and am so blessed by the support and love you show me everyday!! xoxo jess."

ET has confirmed that VIVICA A. FOX's attorney pleaded no contest to Fox's DUI charge on Friday in a Van Nuys, CA courthouse. The actress, who was not present, was sentenced to 36 months of probation and other sanctions.

The judge sentenced Fox to pay a $390 fine or serve 13 days in an L.A. county jail with a credit for two days already served. The actress must also enroll and participate in a three-month first offender drug and alcohol program.

VIVICA A. FOX was booked today in Van Nuys, CA, related to an arrest earlier this year on drunk driving charges. The actress pleaded not guilty to two misdemeanor counts of DUI in September.

The booking sheet lists her booking time as 12:39 p.m. today. She is listed as being 5' 9" and 115 pounds.
