ET joined Larry David and Woody Allen at the star-studded premiere of their new comedy, 'Whatever Works,' in NYC on Wednesday night. Click the video to hear Larry dish about reuniting with "Seinfeld"'s fab four on the upcoming season of "Curb Your Enthusiasm"!
On the heels of her breakout performance in the Oscar winning film 'Slumdog Millionaire', Freida Pinto has been cast in a film from a well known Hollywood director.
Woody Allen begins shooting his new film in London this summer and ET confirms the cast will include an Academy Award winner and a current Oscar nominee.
Penelope Cruz plays Javier Bardem's tempestuous ex-wife in Woody Allen's new comedy, 'Vicky Cristina Barecelona,' and she tells ET what makes her character tick!
"In many ways I didn't want to portray a crazy person; I wanted to get to really understand the reality that she lives in -- the one that she defends," the Oscar-nominated star tells ET's own Thea Andrews.
Hollywood went Mediterranean tonight as the stars of Woody Allen's newest comedy, 'Vicky Cristina Barcelona' -- Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz and Scarlett Johansson -- walked the red carpet, and ET's Thea Andrews was there!
Scarlett, who recently got engaged to 'Van Wilder' hunk Ryan Reynolds, talked wedding plans, and also offered her well-wishes to Morgan Freeman -- while director Woody talked about what a thrill it was to work with Scarlett and Penelope on the 'Vicky' set!
PENELOPE CRUZ is in Cannes to debut her first collaboration with Oscar-winning director WOODY ALLEN, 'Vicky Cristina Barcelona,' and she's talking to ET about making the film.
"I’m such a big fan of Woody Allen's movies," Penelope tells ET, continuing, "I couldn't believe it when they called me to be a part of this."
PENELOPE CRUZ was in her native Spain on Monday to launch the new clothing line she created with her younger sister MONICA, who was also on hand for the debut.
The new fashion line -- which consists of casual wear like jeans and knits -- is for the Spanish design house Mango and will be unveiled in stores on September 16.
"It" girl SCARLETT JOHANSSON is reportedly teaming up yet again with legendary director WOODY ALLEN for the movie he'll be shooting in Spain this summer, making it their third collaboration since 2005.
Scarlett, who starred in Woody's critically acclaimed 'Match Point' in 2005 and the lighthearted 'Scoop' in 2006, joins the star-studded cast, including recent Oscar nominee PENELOPE CRUZ and JAVIER BARDEM, for the as-of-yet untitled film.
WOODY ALLEN's 'Match Point' muse, SCARLETT JOHANSSON, may be falling for a serial killer in the new comedy 'Scoop,' out July 28.
"We were shooting 'Match Point' and I always admired [Woody] as an actor, as a comedian," Scarlett tells ET. "We had such a nice relationship and I always said, 'I wish that we could act together, because I think we would have a good thing between us,' and he was like, 'Alright, I'll think of something.'"
Is 2006 the year of HUGH JACKMAN? Hot off his super 'X-Men' sequel and recent announcement that he'll be starring in his own 'Wolverine' spin-off, the awesome Aussie has five more movies lined up for release this year alone, and ET was with him over the weekend for all his star scoop!
Before his movie updates -- Hugh gave up the details on good friend NICOLE KIDMAN's wedding, which he recently attended in Australia. "I would say next to my own wedding, without a doubt, the best wedding I've ever been to," Hugh revealed. "Incredibly romantic, very heartfelt and oh, beautiful setting, beautiful physically. It was, what I would say, a great Aussie wedding."
SCARLETT JOHANSSON and 'Bend It Like Beckham' star JONATHAN RHYS-MEYERS turn up the heat for WOODY ALLEN's latest drama 'Match Point.'
"I am allergic to the outdoors," Scarlett, who had a love scene with Jonathan in a wheat field, tells ET. "I have horrible seasonal allergies. I was breathing in a lot of pollen and got wheat in my eyes. It was such a passionate scene, and I have such a gorgeous co-star. We were really passionate about it. I was, 'Do you taste blood?' We were really rammed together, and he cut my lip. He sent roses the next day. It was so sweet."
Former "SNL" funnyman WILL FERRELL tackles a more nuanced, down-to-earth character than usual in his new movie with WOODY ALLEN, 'Melinda and Melinda,' in theaters March 18, and he seems to be quite pleased with his opportunity!
"It was a little more real, a little more grounded in terms of some of the other stuff I've done [that's been] a little more outlandish," Will tells ET. "That was a nice change for me, to get to be able to play things a little more real. It felt like an easy adjustment and hopefully it came off that way."
ET's jet-setting STEVEN COJOCARU has made his way from last week's MTV's Video Music Awards in New York to the ultra-chic Venice Film Festival in hopes of spicing things up -- Cojo-style!
Sexy celebs CATHERINE ZETA-JONES and GEORGE CLOONEY are in town to promote their romantic, albeit offbeat, comedy 'Intolerable Cruelty' -- a story about a successful divorce attorney and a serial divorcée. In between gondola rides, Cojo will be making conversation with the stars -- do not miss Tuesday's ET for their chat!
