The 25-year-old son of Caroline Bouvier Kennedy and Edwin Schlossberg shared his experience on social media.

John F. Kennedy's only grandson is a TV star!

John "Jack" Schlossberg landed his first big acting role, appearing on Friday's season eight finale of Blue Bloods. The 25-year-old, whose parents are Caroline Bouvier Kennedy and Edwin Schlossberg, portrayed Officer Jack Hammer on the CBS crime drama, and he took to Instagram on Friday to share pictures from his exciting time on set.

"I don’t make the rules, I just pretend to enforce them — Cash me tonight on season 8 finale of Blue Bloods my dream come true!! Best show in the entire world," Jack wrote alongside two pics of him in his uniform.

He also shared a clip of his scene, which he captioned, "A line fraught with tension."

Jack is currently a student at Harvard Law, and when he's not acting, it seems like he's following in his famous family's footsteps. Just one year ago in May, he made his first live TV appearance with his mom on the Today show, discussing his future in politics.

“I’m inspired by my family’s legacy of public service. It’s something that I’m very proud of,” Schlossberg said. “But I’m still trying to make my own way and figure things out. So stay tuned -- I don’t know what I’m going to do.”
