Khloe Kardashian Beefs Up Security During Delivery With Police Escorts and Confidentiality Contracts

The reality star isn't taking any chances.

Khloe Kardashian is "taking no risks" when it comes to her security detail.

ET confirms the 33-year-old reality star gave birth to a baby girl on Thursday at a hospital outside Cleveland, Ohio, but ahead of her delivery, the new mom covered her basis to ensure that her and her new daughter were safe.

"Khloe Kardashian has been waiting for this moment for years. She has dreamt of having a baby and becoming a mom and finally the day is here," a source tells ET. "The Kardashians are known for their security and Khloe is taking no risks. She is going to make sure everything goes as planned and that her baby is protected."

As for what this entailed, the source says Khloe "arrived to the hospital with police escorts to ensure protection of her and her family."

While inside, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is "making anyone who comes in and out sign a confidentiality agreement" so that she is given the "utmost privacy" during this time.

The source adds that there was discussion as to whether the family of Tristan Thompson, who is Khloe's boyfriend and the baby's father, would have to sign agreements.

As for her personal security, Khloe has apparently hired a team of security guards for the duration of her stay at the hospital that will be positioned in the parking garage, at the elevators and on her floor at the doors. They are there to ensure that only family members who have been approved may enter.

That being said, those permitted will still have to check their phones and cameras at the door unless approved by Khloe, who wants complete control over her baby's first photos.

"She has already planned exactly how she wants her first mommy-baby photos to look," the source says.

The source adds that Khloe's mother, Kris Jenner, was "the mastermind" behind this protection procedure after being at the birth of several of her grandchildren already -- most recently, Kylie Jenner's daughter, Stormi.

Khloe's safety plan may seem a little intense, but the source tells ET that Tristan "has been very understanding" about it all. "He knows how important this is to Khloe and he agrees 100% with her safety plan," the source says. "The people at the hospital are working their hardest, but of course, it's not Hollywood and they aren't used to the entourage that comes with the Kardashians."

The new addition to the Kardashian family comes just a few days after Tristan was accused of stepping out on Khloe. In photos and videos released on Tuesday, the 27-year-old Cleveland Cavaliers player appears to be kissing another woman at a New York City nightclub. Another source, however, tells ET that the two were merely having a conversation, "nothing more."

The Kardashian-Jenner crew isn't letting this news ruin Khloe's big day. A source tells ET that the family is keeping the delivery room "as zen as possible" and that Tristan "is lucky to be there" under the circumstances.
