Kim Kardashian West is joining forces with an Orange Is the New Black star for her new Lifetime show!

Laverne Cox will be both host and judge of the competition reality series Glam Masters, which is executive produced by Kardashian West and is set to premiere on Feb. 28.

"I am so excited to announce that I am serving as host of #GlamMasters and also one of its judges," Cox posted to Instagram on Tuesday. "Glam Masters is a beauty competition series we really had a blast shooting. I hope you'll tune in and enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it."

Other judges to join the 45-year-old actress on the eight-episode series are celebrity makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic, YouTube makeup expert Kandee Johnson and co-founder of Milk Makeup, Zanna Roberts Rassi.

Each episode will have four beauty bloggers facing off to prove they have what it takes to be the next big thing in the beauty industry. The winner each week will then qualify to compete in the semifinals, followed by the "Tournament of Masters" finale, where a Glam Master will be chosen.

In May, Kardashian West excitedly announced her involvement in the TV series. "I’m such a beauty-junkie and am fascinated by how artists are able to transform someone’s look with makeup," she said in a statement. "[I] couldn’t be more ecstatic for them to show what they can really do."

ET's Courtney Tezeno also spoke exclusively with Glam Masters' co-executive producer, Diana Madison, about what it's like to work with Kardashian West. "Kim's a perfectionist and she's so successful and there's a reason, 'cause she works really, really hard for it," Madison said in praise of her friend and collaborator. "She is beyond hands-on with this show. Everything is approved by her."

Promising that the show will be "major," she added, "Kim is very involved in the show and we have major people that are going to be a part of the show -- hosting and being judges and mentors. Just think 'Kardashians.' You already know what comes with that."

In June, ET also chatted with Kardashian West about her love of beauty products and her makeup line, KKW Beauty.

While she has passed down her love of makeup to 4-year-old daughter North, it's also the 37-year-old reality star's hope that her kids get some of their mom's work ethic. "I hope that they find their own motivation -- no matter what that is, no matter what they want to do in life," she said of North and her 2-year-old brother, Saint. "I hope that they work really hard. I think they have good examples."
