Stars Practice Their Happy Dances Before Winning Big at the ACMs
ACM co-host Luke Bryan showed off his happy dance to ET prior to hitting the stage on Sunday night, but after the night's outcome, it might be a good luck dance.
Luke was taped shaking it for ET's cameras on the red carpet before he accepted the award for Entertainer of the Year.
The 38-year-old singer also revealed his pre-hosting ritual with co-host Blake Shelton.
"We huddle up and do some read-throughs and mix us a drink and get ready to do this thing," Luke confessed. "It's the country guy's chill-pill -- a little vodka."
Cole Swindell accepted ACM New Artist of the Year, presented by Kohl's, after impressing us with his fancy footwork.
Later backstage, Cole compared the feeling of cradling his statuette to holding a "newborn" baby.
"I never want to let it go," he said. "It's amazing. I can't believe it."
The 50th Academy of Country Music Awards aired live on CBS. The award show went big for its golden anniversary, taking over AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas with the biggest names in country. Click here for the complete list of ACM winners.
