Kim's Pomeranian, Sushi, was more than a handful, so she turned to the famed animal behaviorist for some help on Sunday's 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians.'

Kim Kardashian West brought home some puppies on Sunday's Keeping Up With the Kardashians, but the adorable, fuzzy friends turned out to be a little more trouble than she expected.

Kim decided that her 4-year-old daughter, North, was finally old enough to have a dog, so she adopted a Pomeranian. Then, to share the responsibilities of dog ownership, she brought home a dog for her sister Kourtney's kids as well.

However, Kim's plan turned sour when her dog, Sushi, turned out to be something of a persistent yapper, while Kourtney's new pup, Honey, was calm as could be.

Kim first tried to pull off an ill-conceived (and kind of mean) clandestine dog swap -- in which she brought Sushi over play with Honey at her sister's house and then "accidentally" took Honey home instead.

However, it only took a minute for Kourtney to catch on -- especially when her 5-year-old daughter, Penelope, became afraid of the fuzzy canine.

After Kourtney came over to Kim's house to exchange dogs, the 37-year-old KUWTK star was once again left with her own misbehaved puppy, and she turned to the only other person who could possibly help: famed animal behaviorist Cesar Millan.

"For my sanity, all I wanted was a really calm dog," Kim told Cesar, who explained that the dog's behavior was all due to a lack of structure and boundaries.

As Cesar observed Sushi playing with North and Kim, he soon came to realize just how many bad habits the little pup was picking up and how many training mistakes the mother and daughter were making -- including rewarding bad behavior and providing an environment where Sushi was allowed to run all over without being reined in.

However, after an afternoon with the Dog Whisperer, Kim had already learned a number of different techniques for calming her new dog, and was looking forward to spending time together.

"It's really exciting to know that Sushi's issues are fixable, and she's just a part of the family now, so we gotta work on it," Kim said in a solo interview.
