New on the tube!

ELISHA CUTHBERT turned heads as 'The Girl Next Door,' but it wasn't until her breakthrough role on "24" that she became a household name. According to the Hollywood Reporter, CBS is banking on her TV success for a new drama pilot called "Ny-Lon."

She will reportedly play a New York literacy teacher and record store clerk who falls for a London stock broker -- the series is based off a British series that focuses on a transatlantic romance.

Meanwhile, the rising star has two upcoming big screen movies-- 'My Sassy Girl' and 'The Six Lives of Henry Lefay' -- due later this year.
