What To Wear
What To Wear To A Job Interview
Job interviews are exciting but they can also be totally stressful. One thing you shouldn't have to worry about as you apply for the dream job is what to wear. Our ETonline host, Katie Krause, wants to help you look confident and chic as you step into the big meeting.
If you want to go for a more professional look with a trendy twist, Katie's skirt and blouse combo is a winner. The periwinkle long-sleeved blouse with black polka-dot embellishments by Elle is fun but appropriate for the work place. She paired the top with a simple black fit and flare skirt and classic black, suede Mary-Janes. For a finishing touch, she found an edgy rose-gold fringe necklace that stands out against the purple fabric.
For a more traditional office style, Katie found a burgundy, long-sleeved, button down top and cuffed the sleeves for a more casual vibe. She tucked the collared shirt into a pair of black skinny pants for a put-together and refined touch. She slipped into a pair of sophisticated black heels and accessorized with a crocodile structured bag that pops against the black and burgundy color combo. Finally, she threw on a bold, off-white and gold geometric necklace to dress up the outfit just a bit.
Feeling fashion forward? Katie has the perfect look for you! Mix a black and white checkered skirt by Candie's with a cowl-neck silk tank featuring dainty white daises and you'll be right on the mix and match patterns trend. For a pop of color, try out some posh teal heels and a show-stopping jewel necklace that picks up the color of the shoes and the olive green purse.
For a totally different office look, pair a stylish blush-colored blazer by LC Lauren Conrad over a fitted silver tank by Jennifer Lopez. Katie spotted a great pair of dark-denim skinny jeans that are casual yet appropriate when balanced with the blazer. Accessorize with nude patent leather pumps, a multi-colored gem statement necklace and an over-sized cream tote and you'll be ready to land the job!
