Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino is a taken man!
The 35-year-old Jersey Shore star announced his engagement to his longtime girlfriend, Lauren Pesce, on Instagram on Thursday. The Situation shared the exciting news with a handful of engagement photos, where he can be seen looking dapper in a blue suit, while his bride-to-be is stunning in a white dress.
"GYM TAN WE’RE ENGAGED!! ???? @lauren_pesce," the reality star wrote alongside a pic of him and his fiancé sitting in a carousel. "THE FUTURE MR & MRS SITUATION ???? @lauren_pesce," he captioned another sweet pic of him getting down on one knee and surprising his girlfriend.
Meanwhile, Pesce also shared a close-up of her stunning ring, writing, "I said YES ? love you forever," as well as additional snaps from the eventful day.
The couple met in college and began dating four years before he joined Jersey Shore in 2009. They later parted ways but got back together in 2012 and have been strong ever since.
ET caught up with The Situation in March, where he swooned over his girlfriend and slyly let it slip that he was already engaged after fans noticed that Pesce had been wearing a ring.
"Are you trying to play me right now because I haven't seen any Instagram pics of my fiancé," he said. "I mean my girlfriend. I cannot confirm or deny such activities, but if you watch the show you'll get everything from funny to action to drama to intense stuff. Real stuff and it's just an awesome show."
"She is the one for sure. She's been through you know good times and bad times, the ups and downs," he added. "She saw me at my worst and she deserves me at my best."
The Situation and his Jersey Shore crew recently reunited for a new season, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, which premiered on April 5. The revival has already been picked up for a second season.
