'Shrek Forever After' and 'Shrek: The Whole Story' Boxed Set
Everyone's favorite green ogre (voiced by Mike Myers) lives happily ever after -- or does he? -- in the fourth and final installment of the blockbuster animated franchise. Shrek makes a deal with the cunning Rumpelstiltskin "to get his roar back," which accidentally flings him into an alternate reality where he doesn't exist, no one knows who he is, and he's forced to find his way back to the real world and his true love, Fiona (Cameron Diaz). Of course, all your favorite 'Shrek' characters are in fine form, including Donkey (Eddie Murphy) and Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas).
Also out today is the four-disc boxed set 'Shrek: The Whole Story,' containing all four 'Shrek' movies ('Shrek,' 'Shrek 2,' 'Shrek the Third' and 'Shrek Forever After') plus the brand-new holiday program "Donkey's Christmas Shrektacular," which features the 'Shrek' characters singing classic holiday songs with Shrek-ized lyrics and "Shrek's Yule Log," a crackling virtual fireplace with 25 character appearances.
Special features on the 'Shrek Forever After' Blu-ray Combo Pack include filmmaker commentary; deleted scenes; "Secrets of Shrek Forever After"; "Spotlight on Shrek"; "The Tech of Shrek Forever After"; a look behind the scenes of Shrek The Musical; a "12 Days of Christmas" pop-up book, and "Donkey's Christmas Shrektacular."
