Nicole Kidman burrowed her way down the red carpet at her 'Rabbit Hole' premiere and delved into the Oscar buzz surrounding her performance.

Nicole showed up with her husband Keith Urban as her date on Thursday night in New York City. After spending decades as one of Hollywood's most acclaimed actresses, Nicole admitted that premieres can still be nerve-wracking for her and appreciated having Keith accompany her to the event: "It's nice to have [my] best friend [here]," said Nicole.

'Rabbit Hole' portrays a couple, Becca and Howie Corbett (Nicole and Aaron Eckhart), who suffer an abrupt loss in their family that throws them into a journey to recover the happy life they once had.

The Oscar winner remained humble when asked about her chances of winning a second Academy Award at the ceremony which airs on Sunday, February 27: "You never know and you just hope for the best," said Nicole. "I suppose the biggest thing for me is that the film connects with people, because I feel very strongly that the film is special."

Aaron relished the opportunity to share screen time with Nicole.

"It's a great project," said Aaron. "It's really an actor's dream to engage in this kind of material with such great actors."
