"Darth Vader. Only you could be so bold." Those words, spoken by Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) in the original 'Star Wars,' set the tone for one of the greatest movie villains of all time. Despite his penchant for snapping necks and relentless search throughout the galaxy to crush the Rebel alliance, audiences were secretly rooting for Vader (voiced by James Earl Jones), and when he revealed to Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) in 'The Empire Strikes Back,' "No, I am your father," chills went up and down our collective spines. Vader became arguably the most popular character in the 'Star Wars' saga, so much so that George Lucas chose to devote the first three films of the now-six movie franchise to his formative years and dramatic turn to the Dark Side of the Force. "The circle is now complete. When I left you I was but the learner. Now I am the master."
