Angelina Jolie must don a disguise as a man to elude capture in her heart-stopping action-thriller 'Salt,' on DVD and Blu-ray today, and we go exclusively behind the scenes to see how she made the remarkable transformation!

In order to create a male look for Angelina, 'Salt' makeup designer Kazuhiro Tsuji Photoshopped the transition and then created eight prosthetic pieces, including a thicker neck with Adam's apple, more masculine nose and lips, different ears, different jawline and different cheekbones.

With the transformation complete and with the help of a costume, Angelina was able to stump even her own family. While promoting the film, she told reporters in Japan that son Maddox reluctantly shook hands with her when she was in the disguise, dressed as a male naval officer, and didn't recognize her.

Upon seeing his expression, she assured him, "'Honey, it's Mommy.'" Then, to teach him real versus make believe, she says she peeled off her fake ears, hands, and nose, revealing her true self.

"I play these roles, but I'm always in every minute their mom first," she said. "I'm a bit goofy. I'm funny at home."

Directed by Philip Noyce ('Patriot Games,' 'Clear and Present Danger'), the action-packed 'Salt' centers around CIA officer Evelyn Salt (Angelina), who is suspected of being a Russian spy when a defector proclaims that a political assassination is about to take place.
