Sacha Baron Cohen to Star in Comedy Based on Saddam Hussein Novel

Sacha Baron Cohen is set to star in 'The Dictator,' a new comedy based on a novel written by the late Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.
'The Dictator' will tell the story of an autocrat who risks his life to make sure that the country he rules and loves will never see democracy. The film will be inspired by a bestselling novel written by Hussein, called Zabibah and the King.
Larry Charles ('Bruno' and 'Borat') will direct the project, which is set to be released in May of 2012.
The president of Iraq from the late '70s until 2003, Hussein was executed in 2006 by the Iraqi government after he was found guilty of crimes against humanity.
