Cher took to her Twitter page yesterday after the song "You Haven't Seen the Last of Me" from the soundtrack of her newest film 'Burlesque' was excluded from the running for the Best Music, Original Song Academy Award.
"We didn't get a nomination 4 best song! That sucks!" Cher wrote on Tuesday. "Diane's [Warren] song is so beautiful! It's hard to understand how u win the Golden Globe 4 BEST SONG & not even get nominated by the OSCARS?"
The song won for Best Original Song - Motion Picture at the 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 16.
Cher continued her tweet in a forgiving mode, writing, "Oh well it is ... what it is ... the sun is still shining!"
The 83rd Annual Academy Awards airs February 27 on ABC. 'Burlesque' is in theaters now.
