'Limitless' exceeded expectations, bringing in $19 million at the weekend box office.
'Limitless' casts Bradley Cooper as Eddie Morra, an aspiring author with serious writer's block whose life radically changes when an old friend introduces him to NZT, a revolutionary new pharmaceutical wonder drug. After taking the pill, Eddie's senses are heightened; he can recall everything he has ever read, seen or heard, comprehend complex equations and even learn any language in a day.
Meanwhile, Johnny Depp's 'Rango' held on to the No. 2 spot, grossing $15.3 million. In at No. 3 was the sci-fi film 'Battle: Los Angeles,' making another $14.6 million.
Rounding out the top five was Matthew McConaughey's legal thriller 'The Lincoln Lawyer' with $13.4 million, and the new comedy 'Paul' with $13.1 million.
