Joseph Gordon-Levitt Cast in New 'Dark Knight' Movie

March 20, 2011Joseph Gordon-Levitt is set to run the streets of Gotham in the upcoming film 'The Dark Knight Rises.'
Variety reports that the actor will play a villain named the Holiday Killer in the movie directed by Christopher Nolan, who worked with Gordon-Levitt on 'Inception.'
The Holiday Killer (real name Alberto Falcone) is the son of Tom Wilkinson's character in 'Batman Begins,' mob boss Carmine Falcone, and keeps in line with Nolan's inclination towards realistic bad guys.
Look for 'The Dark Knight Rises' to hit theaters July 20, 2012.
