Katie Holmes Cheats on Hairstylist in 'The Decision'

Katie Holmes walked the red carpet in New York Tuesday night for the debut of her first short film.

In "The Decision," Katie plays a high-profile actress who makes the choice to stop using her colorist and starts coloring her own hair. She collaborated on the project with hair care provider John Frieda to showcase the company's Precision Foam Colour product. Click here to watch the entire short film.

"You know this was a really fun project to work on and a great opportunity to bridge movies into beauty and I had a wonderful time working with John Frieda," Katie told ET. "I worked with (celebrity hairstylist) Harry Josh, he did my hair, it was really fun. It was something different, it was sort of a period look, so we had a good time," she added.
