Steven Spielberg's collaborative project with the late Stanley Kubrick is a futuristic take on the classic Pinocchio fable. Haley Joel Osment stars as David, an advanced prototype robot child programmed to show unconditional love. But his human family isn't prepared for the consequences, and suddenly David is on his own in a strange and dangerous world. He befriends the streetwise robot Gigolo Joe (Jude Law) and seeks to discover the startling secret of his own identity. Frances O'Connor, Sam Robards and William Hurt also star.
