'Mortal Kombat' and 'Mortal Kombat: Annihilation' on Blu-ray
Mortal Kombat!!!! The 1995 and 1997 films based on the hugely popular video game are now on Blu-ray, just in time for the release of the all-new PS3 version of the game. The story of an ancient tournament where the best of the best from different realms battle each other for victory – and the right to invade the losing realm – the story follows Lord Rayden (Christopher Lambert) and his fighters (including Bridgette Wilson, Talisa Soto and Robin Shou) in their efforts to prevent Outworld from conquering Earth.
Special features include the Mortal Kombat video game trailer; theatrical trailers; and the animated "Mortal Kombat: The Journey Begins" (on the 'Mortal Kombat' disc only); and digital copies of the films.
