'Rio' Grooves to No. 1 at Box Office

The star-studded animated feature 'Rio,' featuring Will.i.am and Jamie Foxx, topped the box office charts, snagging $40 million its opening weekend in the U.S.

The second place flick, 'Scream 4,' pulled in half of the family comedy's numbers taking in $19.2 million, while last week's champion, 'Hop,' held the third position with $11.1 million.

'Soul Surfer' and 'Hanna' took the fourth and fifth spot with $7.4 million and $7.3 million, respectively.
