'Something Wild' on Blu-ray
Director Jonathan Demme's surprising, kinky 1986 comedy starring Melanie Griffith, Jeff Daniels and Ray Liotta is now on Criterion Collection Blu-ray! Daniels plays Charles Driggs, a straitlaced businessman whose life gets wild when he meets the quirky, free-spirited Lulu (Griffith). But a spontaneous interstate road trip gets dangerous when Lulu's unpredictable ex-con husband Ray (Liotta) enters the picture.
Special features on the new, restored digital transfer (supervised by director of photography Tak Fujimoto and approved by Demme, with DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack) include new video interviews with Demme and writer E.
