Johnny Depp on His Son's Response to His Newest Turn as Captain Jack Sparrow

The cast of 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides' arrived to the tune of screaming children for the movie premiere at Disneyland where Johnny Depp dished about his own children's response to the new flick.

Johnny admitted that initially his son Jack wasn't exactly thrilled about the new sequel.

"Again?" Johnny's boy responded to the news, eventually warming up to the idea.

Johnny dons his red bandanna and eye shadow for the fourth time, playing Captain Jack Sparrow in 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.' But this time Jack is after a bigger prize than the heart of Davy Jones or a chest of gold coins. Now Jack has set his sights on the Fountain of Youth.

Penelope Cruz gave a surprising answer when asked what part of her that she would keep young forever, naming "hope and trust" as her top choices.

Johnny, who shocked fans by debuting a new shorter 'do, commented on the adventures off camera such as the film's director Rob Marshall almost falling off a cliff while instructing the cast.

"It got pretty strange at times," Johnny said simply.

Rivaling the movie as the biggest story of the night were "Dancing with the Stars" contestants Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy who already seem to be focused on their live performance on Monday.

"I want to show a lot of personality," Kirstie said of her upcoming dance. "But ... I want high scores so I have to do it correctly."

Musical talents like Steven Tyler and Vanessa Hudgens also showed dup for the big premiere. Click the video to hear what they had to say about the 'Pirates' franchise.
