Twihards and fashionistas, get excited!
We won't have to wait until November 18 to find out which designer's wedding dress will be featured in 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1.' Summit Entertainment has just announced that Kristen Stewart will be wearing a Carolina Herrera gown as her character, Bella, ties the knot with vampy heartthrob Edward Cullen.
Herrera, known for her effortlessly chic, sophisticated style, was not the only designer hoping to showcase her work in the highly-anticipated film. Christian Siriano, Max Azria, Brian Reyes, and Erin Fetherston were among designers who sketched their concepts for the gown, and until recently it was rumored that Zac Posen had been officially chosen.
Herrera is grateful for this opportunity, stating, "It is always a great pleasure to design any wedding gown, but this one was particularly special. Kristen is a stunning girl and Bella will make a beautiful bride."
Neither the movie trailer nor the still photos allow us a preview of the dress, but Stephenie Meyer's book describes it as having an early 1900's design. Chances are, Herrera will not fail to wow us, and we expect that Edward won't be the only one at the wedding who sparkles.
