The Stars of 'Cars 2' on Their Real-Life First Car Experience

Lightning McQueen and his loyal pickup truck Mater are back with an all-new, around the world adventure in 'Cars 2,' and as we learned at the film's red carpet  premiere, the superstars who lend their voices to the loveable cars had some not-so-glamorous experiences with their first real-life autos.

Probably the most unfortunate first car experience of the bunch goes to Bonnie Hunt, who lends her voice to Sally the Porsche. She confesses her first vehicle was an "old Ford Granada" which had "no gas gauge." She laughs at the memory, explaining that in order to drive the car, she had "to guess" if there was enough gas in the tank.

Owen Wilson, who reprises his role as Lightning McQueen in the sequel, did pretty well as a teenage driver- His first ride was a "Chevy Blazer."

Larry the Cable Guy cruised the streets of his hometown Pawnee City, Nebraska in a "metallic blue" model "1969 formula Firebird with double hood scoops."

The newest installment of the 'Cars' franchise takes Lightning McQueen and his pal Mater overseas to compete in the World Grand Prix race, however the road to the championship becomes rocky as Mater gets caught up in an intriguing adventure of his own: international espionage!
