'Transformers' Trilogy: An Explosive ET Recap

As ET prepares for complete coverage of the 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon' world premiere in Moscow on Thursday, we look back at the entire franchise, as ET has been exclusively behind the scenes from the beginning. Watch the video!

The first 'Transformers' movie opened on July 3, 2007, and saw star Shia LaBeouf's career exploding. For the exciting follow-up, 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,' our own Mark Steines was on the top-secret set with director Michael Bay at new Mexico's Holloman Air Force base for an explosive display.

And for the highly anticipated 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon,' Mark and Samantha Harris were on the incredible downtown Chicago set, where a team of precision fliers joined the battle on the city's famed Michigan Avenue.

"This is the best 'Transformers' movie we've made," promises Shia.

'Transformers: Dark of the Moon' opens nationwide in 3D and IMAX 3D on June 29, with advanced screenings in 3D beginning the night before at 9 p.m.
