Paramount Pictures

In 1984, 'Footloose' sent teenagers all over the country into a dancing craze, and now the classic flick, which originally starred Kevin Bacon and Lori Singer, is getting a makeover with one of today's most popular dancers. Take a look at the the first poster for the remake!

The new poster features the movie's lead actor Kenny Wormald reclining on the hood of a Volkswagen Beetle with his wardrobe – skinny jeans and a white t-shirt – being reminiscent of the time period that the original film was made.

Former "Dancing with the Stars" cast member Julianne Hough will star in the movie as Ariel Moore, the daughter of Reverend Shaw Moore (Dennis Quaid), who has banned dancing in the family's small town after a tragic accident that left five teenagers dead.

When the new kid in town, Ren MacCormack (Wormald), rebels against the new ordinance he brings the town back to life and falls in love with Ariel in the process.

'Footloose' frolics into theaters October 14.
