New Trailer: George Clooney for President in 'The Ides of March'

George Clooney plays a presidential candidate on the fast track to the Oval Office, but who is the man behind the man? Get a first look at 'The Ides of March,' in theaters October 7.

Co-written and directed by Clooney, 'The Ides of March' takes place during the frantic last days before a heavily contested Ohio presidential primary. Ryan Gosling plays an up-and-coming campaign press secretary working for Clooney who finds himself involved in a political scandal that threatens to upend his candidate's shot at the presidency.

Also starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, Marisa Tomei, Paul Giamatti, Jeffrey Wright, Max Minghella and Evan Rachel Wood, the film was executive-produced by Leonardo DiCaprio.
