In theaters October 7, The Ides of March takes place during the frantic last days before a heavily contested Ohio presidential primary. Gosling plays an up-and-coming campaign press secretary working for Clooney who finds himself involved in a political scandal that threatens to upend Clooney's shot at the presidency. Will he jump ship and work for the opposing candidate? Or stay true to his ideals?

Also starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, Marisa Tomei, Paul Giamatti, Jeffrey Wright, Max Minghella and Evan Rachel Wood, the film was executive-produced by Leonardo DiCaprio.
