'Death Proof'
In true Quentin Tarantino style, 2007's Death Proof (the second feature of Grindhouse, starring Kurt Russell, Rosario Dawson and Zoë Bell) presents continuous suspense as Stuntman Mike stalks out groups of beautiful women and uses his "death proof" stunt car to carry out his murderous plans. The film builds to the sequence in which Zoë and her girlfriends are out for a joy ride with Zoë sprawled across the hood of their car. Mike is not far behind, and he does his best to put an end to their fun time on the road, laughing the whole time. Just when it seems that Stuntman Mike has gotten the best of the girls, they turn the tables to have the last laugh themselves.
