With the 23rd official film of the James Bond franchise due out in 2012, there's no doubt that the 007 films continue to excite audiences around the world. While almost every Bond flick features an exciting chase of some sort, 1977's 'The Spy Who Loved Me' upped the ante with its mid-film chase along the narrow mountain roads of Sardinia. At first dodging a rocket-propelled motorcycle sidecar missile in his Q Branch-outfitted white Lotus Esprit, Bond (Roger Moore) must dodge bullets from his nemesis Jaws and a machine-gun-equipped chopper before plunging the Lotus off a pier, transforming into his piece-de-resistance -- a missile-launching submarine.
