This 1980 action-comedy that grew out of a Saturday Night Live sketch is just as memorable for its multiple car chases as it is for its great music and memorable cameos. In addition to the scene in which Jake and Elwood Blues (John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd) literally drive through a mall while being chased by police -- trashing everything in their path -- the film culminates with a wild chase through the streets of Chicago. Intent to fulfill their "mission from God," Jake and Elwood are followed closely by what seems to be the entire Chicago police force, the Good Ol' Boys band, a group of Neo-Nazis -- and the National Guard. At the time of its release, John Landis' movie held the world record for the most cars wrecked during filming.
