Butler and Monaghan On 'Machine Gun Preacher'

Christina McLarty sat down at the Ritz-Carlton in Toronto to talk to Gerard Butler and Michelle Monaghan, the two stars of Machine Gun Preacher, as they were both in Toronto for the premiere of the film.

Machine Gun Preacher follows Sam Childers (Butler), a former drug-dealing biker who found God and became a missionary in Sudan. Monaghan plays Childers wife, Lynn.

Butler talked about working with the children in the film while shooting in South Africa. "They were the inspiration that got me through this movie," Butler said. "The kids were hilarious. They're amazing, they are like kids here, fun and interesting."
