Lautner's Move From 'Twilight' a 'Challenge'

Sure, who wouldn't find it difficult to leave a franchise that virtually guarantees hundreds of adoring girls will follow you through every step of your day?

As our favorite werewolf Taylor Lautner mourns the end of an incredibly successful franchise run, his move from the Twilight Saga has become an exciting opportunity for a whole new beginning.

"It's very different," says Taylor of his new, high-adrenaline role. "That's what I love about it. I love Jacob, I love that franchise but as an actor to be able to go from that to this is completely different and challenging and I love challenging myself."

Albeit a little more grown up, Lautner looks every bit the handsome Jacob we all know and love. Undoubtedly the young actor's square jaw, and chiseled pecs had something to do with being cast in the film Abduction, but don't let his humble air fool you -- switching gears to full-fledged action star was hard work.

"I started training in boxing, in wrestling in motorcycle training about 3 months before we started filming and then continued all the way throughout. It was important for me to at least look like I knew what I was doing."
