Julianne's BF Seacrest a 'Great Guy,' Says Derek

Although we no longer get our bi-weekly dosage of the lovable Julianne Hough on Dancing with the Stars, brother Derek assures us that she's doing very well in her recent career pursuits and has herself quite a catch with boyfriend Ryan Seacrest.

It's no secret Julianne has been dating the American Idol host and man about town for a while, but what does Derek think of the man who's stolen his little sister's heart?

"He's an outstanding guy," Derek says with a smile. "We've had a chance to get to know eachother better, and he's a great guy."

In case you were wondering what exactly Derek was up to during his season 12 Dancing breather this year, the three-time champ was busy filming the upcoming dance flick, Cobu 3D.

Opposite Asia's top recording artist BoA, Hough brings his Mirror Ball-winning skills to the big screen, playing a dancer who falls in love with a girl from rival crew. The Romeo & Juliet-inspired drama was a venture Derek hopes to pursue more often.

"It was an amazing experience," Hough explains, adding a film career is something he would "love to continue in the future."
