Charlie Sheen's Father-Son Outing

Charlie Sheen reunited with his father Martin Sheen and brother Emilio Estevez over the weekend during the Los Angeles premiere of The Way at the Nokia Theatre.

Emilio wrote, directed and acted in the movie, which follows a father, played by Martin, as he embarks on a trail of redemption after the loss of his son.

Charlie gave his dad kudos not only on his performance as an actor but also as a role model, saying, "He's a guy that's always led by example -- professionally, socially and emotionally ... We could all learn from a man like that -- myself included."

The actor ended the interview with a remark along the lines of what's become his trademark sense of humor.

"If you can't work with your family, then what are you doing?" said Charlie. "Unless they all suck, which we don't."

The Way hits theaters October 7.
