'Ides of March' Cast Rates Clooney as Politician

We all know George Clooney the actor but what about George the politician? ET's Samantha Harris got the cast of Clooney's latest film The Ides of March to dish on how he would fair in the Oval Office.

"I would vote for him," said Max Minghella (The Social Network) at the movie's Hollywood premiere on Tuesday. "I think he'd win. I just don't think he wants to do that with his life, because it wouldn't be very fun."

Evan Rachel Wood on the other hand wasn't completely swayed.

"That's a loaded question," said Wood. "It depends on what kind of system he'd be running in."

Co-written and directed by Clooney, The Ides of March takes place during the frantic last days before a heavily contested Ohio presidential primary. Ryan Gosling plays an up-and-coming campaign press secretary working for Clooney who finds himself involved in a political scandal that threatens to upend his candidate's shot at the presidency.

The Ides of March hits theaters October 7. Watch the clip to see how Clooney diplomatically avoids a question about the Dancing with the Stars connection between his ex Elisabetta Canalis and his current gal pal Stacy Keibler.
