Julianne Hough on Stripping For Tom Cruise

From a rebellious preacher's daughter, to a stripper who finds love in the backdrop of the eighties music scene, former Dancing with the Stars pro Julianne Hough is getting a seriously edgy jump into the feature film scene, and embracing every minute of it.

We visited the multi-talented beauty on a photoshoot for the upcoming issue of Seventeen magazine, and Hough gave us the inside scoop on what it's like to be thrown into the spotlight (in her skivvies, no less!) with Tom Cruise.

"Rock of Ages is so epic I cannot even tell you," Julianne beamed with excitement. "I was literally two days ago doing a scene with Tom Cruise where my character is a stripper!"

Standing opposite the Mission Impossible icon, Julianne confesses her mind was racing, recalling the conversation within her brain went something like this: "Oh my gosh, can I do this?" quickly followed by, "this is awesome!".

Hough's new film Footloose opens this Friday, and Rock of Ages is slated for a June, 2012 release.
