Killer Klowns From Outer Space (1988)
A small town is invaded by aliens but only a small group of teens actually knows about the threat. Why? The aliens are disguised as circus clowns with big painted-on smiles. This over-the-top B-horror film is equally scary and funny, and the way the heroes actually kill the clowns/aliens is unexpected and amusing.
