You'd think that filming a wedding scene for a movie might lift some of the pressure off what is traditionally one of the biggest days in a person's life, but according to cast members of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1, it may as well have been the real thing for star Kristen Stewart given her fright throughout the highly-anticipated ceremony.
Robert Pattinson tells Entertainment Tonight that the big moment was much like stories you often hear about weddings; it didn't feel real for him until he caught glimpse of his wife-to-be, and she was "terrified."
"It was very sweet," said Rob of the endearing moment he locked eyes with Kristen. "I hadn't been nervous for the entire scene before that point. I was just sort of standing there like not really doing anything, and she walks out and she's looking absolutely terrified."
Despite the all-consuming fear directed his way, Rob tells us didn't fail to notice the "incredible" sight of his new bride.
Elizabeth Reaser (better known as Rob's Vampire mom, Esme) was front and center as the finally two tied the knot, and admits she was taken aback by how real the ceremony felt, especially seeing the sight of "little Kristen" given away by her film-father Billy Burke.
"I've never seen her like that before," explained Elizabeth. "It was seeing [Billy's] face when he was walking her down the aisle. I just saw a dad who was so heartbroken to give his daughter away and then to see little Kristen's face and she was so nervous. Genuinely nervous."
Regardless of her terror Elizabeth says Kristen pulled through like a champ. "There's so much riding on this moment. These fans and her too. This is the moment so she kind of had to bring it. And she did."
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 opens this Friday, November 18.
