Meryl Streep was one of five to receive the spotlight at the annual Kennedy Center Honors in Washington D.C., but it was Streep's star-studded tribute cast that really stole the show.

Serenading the Iron Lady with a rendition of She's Me Pal, Anne Hathaway literally sung the 62-yr-old legend her praises, closing the routine with an impressive split which took the help of three to get back on her feet.

Kevin Kline, Mike Nichols, Robert De Niro, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci were among the A-listers who took part in Meryl's touching yet hilarious tribute, which nearly brought the actress to tears.

President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama sat front and center for the annual event, which also honored Barbara Cook, Neil Diamond, cellist Yo-Yo Ma, and saxophonist Sonny Rollins.
