Presented by Cartier, the Awards Gala will honor Brad Pitt, Glenn Close, Michelle Williams, Octavia Spencer, Jessica Chastain and the film Young Adult, but the most buzzed-about appearance is from none other than the jack of all trades in the biz, Mr. George Clooney.

"I talked to [George] just a few weeks ago and he's humbled and thrilled with the response to both pictures," said Mary, who will be presenting Clooney with the Chairman's Award for his work on The Descendants and The Ides of March. The Oscar winner starred in both and directed, produced and co-wrote Ides.

What's more is that the festivities will reunite Clooney with his Ocean's Eleven co-star, and buddy Brad Pitt, who Hart has had the pleasure to interview on many occasions. "It's really quite the comradery [between the two]" she explains, "but it's going to be competitive."

The 23rd Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival will be held tomorrow, January 7 at the Palm Springs Convention Center.
