The buzz surrounding Prometheus – director Ridley Scott's highly anticipated return to Alien territory -- is growing as fast as a xenomorph, and a clip from the film has surfaced, envisioning a TED talk "from the future" by Peter Weyland, the founding character of the infamous Weyland-Yutani Corporation from the franchise.

For those not in the know, the TED conference is an annual confab in which the world's leading thinkers and doers gather for what's been called "the ultimate brain spa" and "a four-day journey into the future, in the company of those creating it." Guy Pearce plays Weyland, and in the new Prometheus clip, the technology magnate addresses the TED crowd of 2023 with his intentions to "change the world" – whether we like it or not.
