Meet Bond Girl Berenice Marlohe

New Bond girl Bérénice Marlohe's first video blog has been posted on 007.com, where she reveals her initial trepidation about meeting the press; how colors can define a character -- and we get to see a very brief glimpse of her in action!

In theaters this November, Skyfall finds Daniel Craig returning for his third outing as James Bond, and this time his loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

Craig's 007 is 'Real Man in Real Situation'

Marlohe's specific role in the plot has yet to be revealed, but of her character Severine, the French model and actress reveals, "The first time you see her, she has a dark side. I was, in a way, convinced that I could bring something interesting as an actress."

She adds, "I think there is a big range of colors when playing a Bond girl, whether they are very nice or good characters or villainous or psychopaths, so it is very interesting because you can try to create your own character based on that. I think this is very particular to the James Bond movies."
Oscar winner Sam Mendes is directing Skyfall, which also stars Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Albert Finney and Naomie Harris.

Naomie Harris has also released a behind-the-scenes video blog featuring some serious artillery. She plays Eve, a field agent who's "very capable" and "kind of sees herself as Bond's equal. She's not, but that's how she sees herself."
