War Horse

The Story: Steven Spielberg's epic, Oscar-nominated War Horse follows the story of Albert (played by newcomer Jeremy Irvine), a young British farm boy who tames and befriends a beautiful, powerful horse -- naming it Joey -- only to have their bond shattered when World War I breaks out and Joey is sold to the cavalry. Determined to be reunited, Albert seeks out his equine friend through the war-torn fields, trenches and battlefields like a needle in a haystack as Joey makes his own extraordinary journey through both sides of the landscape. David Thewlis, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jeremy Irvine, Emily Watson, Tom Hiddleston, Peter Mullan and David Kross also star.
