Titanic director James Cameron loves the water, having captained over thirty dives to the real-life Titanic site. Last weekend, Cameron became just the third person ever to go solo to the Mariana Trench's Challenger Deep, the deepest known point on Earth, just ahead of the release of Titanic 3D.

Fifteen years after Titanic broke box office records and 100 years after the real-life disaster, the Cameron-directed spectacle is coming back to the big screen in 3D on April 4.
