Just In: Amazing New 'Spider-Man' Trailer

Look out Avengers and Dark Knight… The crown for this summer's superhero box office champ has some serious competition in The Amazing Spider-Man, in theaters July 3, and the newest trailer reveals some killer web-slinging footage and battle scenes with the deadly Lizard that's sure to please die-hard fans.

Andrew Garfield takes over as outcast high schooler Peter Parker, who like most teens is just trying to figure out just who he is and how to move forward with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone). When Peter's quest to understand his parents' disappearance leads him to the Oscorp lab of his father's former partner, Dr. Curt Connors (Rhys Ifans), Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' deadly alter-ego, The Lizard.

Directed by (500) Days of Summer director Marc Webb, The Amazing Spider-Man also stars Martin Sheen, Sally Field, Denis Leary, Embeth Davitz, Campbell Scott and C. Thomas Howell, swinging into theaters in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D.
