Beyonce made her triumphant return to music last weekend post-baby with a slew of shows in Atlantic City and now the multi-talented diva is ready to dip her toes back into another love of hers—movies.

The new mom just signed on for the role of Queen Tara in the family friendly animated film, Epic, according to Deadline. Knowles joins Josh Hutcherson, Amanda Seyfried, Steven Tyler, Colin Farrell, Pitbull and Jason Sudeikis who will also be featured in the 3D flick.

Epic comes from 20th Century Fox Animation and Blue Sky Studios whose credits include Ice Age and Rio.

Beyonce's new gig comes nearly five months after Beyonce gave birth to her first child, Blue Ivy, with rapper Jay-Z on January 7.
