Disney Channel's highly-anticipated music driven movie Let It Shine is still more than a week away, but we have exclusive video of the cast at the star-studded premiere!

The movie stars Tyler James Williams (Everybody Hates Chris) as Cyrus DeBarge, an aspiring rapper who struggles to convince his dad, Preacher Jacob DeBarge (played by Courtney B. Vance) that rap is not an inherently negative form of music.

Tyler summed up the movie's message, saying, "Let it Shine is all about being completely okay with yourself and loving yourself and letting who you are shine through."

The inspirational film features a dynamic soundtrack made up of hip-hop and gospel music, which debuts on Walt Disney Records June 12.

Let it Shine premieres Friday, June 15 at 8/7c on the Disney Channel.
